We set off to discover the secrets of Ancient Egypt, aboard a felucca, floating along the Nile to the rhythm of the nourishing river.
From the Pharaonic temples to the pyramids of Giza, we will explore the thousand and one treasures of this incredible open-air museum known as the Valley of the Kings. The graceful ghosts of Nefertiti and Cleopatra will be our imaginary guides along this fanciful voyage.
The details of the sets are infused with Egyptian art and culture.
The “Sulfure” theme in jacquard voile and “Odalisque” in Calais Leavers lace are adorned in geometric and stylised motifs freely inspired by the hieroglyphs of Karnak temple. The striped silk and cotton of the “Medina” line, the jacquard jersey on “Halva” as well as the silk satin of the “Galatée” line, through their shine, daintiness and pastel colors instantly call to mind the sweet almond and honey aromas of those irresistible Oriental pastries.
Lastly, the homewear line “Devine” in waffle silk satin inlaid with silk crepe, evokes all the luxury, modernity and refinement of Princess Fawzia’s finery.
The landscape colors give off a feeling of calm and bliss. Soft mineral shades of stones and dunes, “Marbre”, “Pyramide” and “Sable” seem weather-beaten by the sun and wind. Bright colors, “Pépite” yellow gold and the “Eau du Nil” light turquoise wake up a monochrome range of purples, “Crocus”, “Venin” and “Immortel”, mysterious shades with spell-binding, mystical charm.

From Luxor to Palmyra, the collection takes us on a magical and fascinating adventure under the skies of the One Thousand and One Nights.
It is a dreamlike journey through Greece, Syria and Egypt guided by the heady scents and shimmering shades of Oriental souks.
In a bewitching atmosphere the women are spellbinding. They have the fascinating charm and classic beauty of timeless muses, like modern versions of Salomé or Queen Zenobia.
Classical elegance is Ariadne’s thread this season: several drape details on skirted bottoms for the “Hammam” theme, jewel-like metal fittings on the “Babylone” line, graphic cutouts on necklines of the “Persée” line in Parachute fabric, while the “Bazaar” theme boasts block jewel tones resulting in a new very visual and bold graphic design.
The “Torpedo” and “Sultane” lines evoke a new Indiana Jones
and are enriched with “adventurer” details: snapped tabs
and contrasting binding trim on micro gingham or “Peau Douce” fabric.
This season, the flowing and comfortable Autour lines are enriched with sandals, a turban and a belt, all trimmed with a two-color braid for a Queen of Sheba spirit.
The pigment-saturated color range imitates all the contrasts of minerals: from desert rocks to the most precious gemstones.
“Vizir” violet, “Loukoum” mauve and “Byzance” gold call to mind Liz Taylor’s fabulous jewels.
Super-saturated “Bengale” pink, “Soufi” yellow and “Louxor” red are mixed with “Mosaïque” turquoise blue and they glorify all the colors of the desert: “Shatoosh” sand, “Damas” scorched earth and “Néfertiti” sienna.
